The USMSC is a organization for fans of the military science fiction genre. Whether you're a fan of Heinlein, Drake, Saberhagen, Laumer, Turtledove, Ringo or the many other fine military sci-fi authors; if you love films or televisions shows such as Aliens, Starship Troopers, Stargate-1 and others... all are welcome in the USMSC. Ours is an organization that celebrates the comraderie, drama, epic struggle and the horror of the military experience as realized in the science fiction genre. Members are invited to post reviews and discussions of books and movies, argue the tactical applications of combined arms actions and future weaponry and enjoy the comraderie and fun of live events and get togethers at major science-fiction/fantasy conventions and special USMSC events.

As an organization, the USMSC replicates a fictional US Marine unit at the turn of the 21st and 22nd centuries. Participation in the USMSC forums is free, but membership in the USMSC provides an identity card kit unit patches and accesss to special member forums. At some conventions we'll organize “Marine Days” during which members may want to wear their USMSC load-outs, live-action airsoft events such as the popular TerrorWerks series and other airsoft events and of course our “NCO Club” parties.
